You ever just sit there and look at your kids in amazement that you actually grew them. Or maybe you didn't grow them but they became yours in another beautiful amazing way. Life is so incredible. Babies and kids are so incredible. Our creator, God, is so incredible!

So you're sitting there staring lovingly at your kids and a slight smile on your face when BAM! You get hot in the face with a nerf dart followed by screaming and hitting when a fight breaks out on the other side of the room. By now you're on a whole different channel then before and your sensory overload is just about to blow a gasket after a long full day being touched sneezed and pooped on.

You know what I'm talking about..

But here's my question, how do you handle it at this point? I find myself trolling my kids to calm down and take deep breaths but I forget to myself. I'm working on it and thankful am seeing improvement but dang it it's hard!

At this point in the evening I usually just feel done and want them to go to bed so I can be alone.

But I don't want to feel that way every evening. I WANT to want to be on bedtime duty. But I usually don't.

So the question is, as a stay at home mom, is that possible?
